Javed Ahmed Tak is an Indian divyang social worker. He was conferred with India's fourth highest civilian honour the Padma Shri in 2020 for his contribution in social work.[1][2][3][4]

Biography[edit]

Tak has been working with divyang children for more than two decades.[5][6] He provided free education, material aid and motivation to over 100 children of 40 villages in Anantnag and Pulwama.[7] He established Zaiba Aapa School and Humanity Welfare Organization for the divyang people.[8] He is disabled due to a spinal injury caused by a militant attack.[9]
