Jayati Devi or Jayati Munshi (Bengali: জয়তী মুন্সী) was the wife of noted Indian painter Annada Munshi, who played a significant role in the expansion of Indian Tea marketing under Tea Market Expansion Board in India in the 20th century.[1][2][3] She was the first Bengali lady to appear as a model for an advertising venture of the then Tea Board in India.[1][4] She was married to Annada Munshi in the year 1934, and played a crucial role in the expansion of Munshi's artistic excellence and heritage. She was mentioned in the book named Munshianay Chollis Purush (in English: Forty Men on Excellence) which was authored by noted researcher and writer Santanu Ghosh, and also a documentary titled Shilpe Munshider Munshiana (in English: Excellence of Munshis in Arts) directed by Partho Mukherjee.[1][4]
