Jayprakash Majumdar
Jayprakash Majumdar is an Indian politician from the state of West Bengal. He is the Vice president of west Bengal Bharatiya Janta Party[1][2] He fought from Bhartiya Janta Party ticket in the Assembly byelection from Karimpur and lost to Bimalendu Sinha Roy of All India Trinamool Congress by a margin of 24,119 votes. [3][4]. Previously He was with the congress and shifted to BJP in 2014.[5]. Controversy created on Voting day at Pipulkhola booth no 32 and 33 when he was heckled and kicked by the locals claimed as All India Trinamool Congress Cadres.[6]
