Jean Motell born 1 July 1979, is a French artist[1][2][3][4] whose lo-fi activist work was affiliated[5] with pioneers like Yael Kanarek. His artistic work[6] is influenced by Piero Manzoni, Giacomo Leopardi,[7] Erik Satie, and Jean-Edern Hallier. Jean Motell is a former party crasher[8], a composer[9][10][11] and the founder of Scanner Magazine, a visual biannual magazine.
