Jeeva is a transgender Indian actress and make-up artiste who works in Tamil films.


Jeeva left Sivakasi for Koyambedu and worked in a tea shop. She subsequently went on to work as a make-up artiste for several films including Lingaa (2014), Papparapaam (2015), Aakkam (2017), and Kaala (2018).[2][1] She made her acting debut with Dharma Durai (2016) before garnering acclaim for the short film Aval Nangai.[3][4] She was a part of several short films that were screened at the Transgender Short Film Festival and Documentary Film Competition in Madurai.[5][6] She gained recognition for the shorts Touch Me Not and Thiru Thai Avale.[7][8] Her next film was Darbar in which she portrays a transgender dancer in the song "Kannula Thimiru".[9][10][11][12] She has also signed a film with Karthik Subbaraj.[10]
