Jeff Davidson is an American author, motivational speaker, and management consultant. In 1995 he founded The Breathing Space Institute.[1] He has written 65 books focusing on self management, business, and career advancement.

Background[edit]

Born in Hartford, Connecticut and raised in Bloomfield, Connecticut, he graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1973 with a Bachelor's degree in Business, and an MBA in 1974.[2]

He earned the title of a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) from the Institute of Management Consultants in 1981.[citation needed] Since 1988, he has studied how time and stress pressures are increasing for individuals.[3]

In 1995, Davidson founded the Breathing Space Institute in Chapel Hill, which was relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2008.[4] The Institute assists businesses and individuals by providing resources for time, stress, and life management through books, speeches, and seminars.

Authorship[edit]

Davidson has written over 3,000 magazine articles, and 65 books[5][not in citation given] that have been published in several languages.

He is a columnist for news sources such as Association News,[6] The Practical Lawyer,[7] and The Organized Executive, to which he is an Advisory Board member.[1]

Davidson has also recorded several audiobooks, has written several dozen e-books and several articles for North Carolina publications, including The Chapel Hill News.[8] In March 2010, he launched a line of iPhone apps featuring the principles offered in his Breathing Space Institute presentations.[9]
