Jenny Valdez
Jenny Valdez (1979) is a beauty pageant titleholder from Nevada who competed in the Miss USA pageant.[1][2] Valdez was crowned Miss Nevada USA 2002. She has also held the titles of Miss Las Vegas 2000,[3] Ms. Southern Nevada 2000, and Nevada State Cinderella International Woman 2000.
After being Miss Nevada USA, she did the first print and commercial campaign for the Cannery Casino and Hotel.[citation needed] She was also featured on 13 billboards from West Wendover, Nevada, to Salt Lake City, Utah, as a print model for the Red Garter Casino & Hotel.[citation needed] In 2009, she wrote and published the children's book, "Amanda Jean & Tangerine Go to School."[citation needed]
Valdez is a 1996 graduate of Indian Springs High School and earned a degree in secondary education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2003. Valdez now teaches at the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts.[citation needed]
