Jessica Heslam

Jessica Heslam (born 1972 in Halifax, Nova Scotia) is a former news columnist for the Boston Herald. [1][2]

Heslam was hired by the Boston newspaper in 2000 from the Patriot Ledger in Quincy, Massachusetts. She was hired by the Boston Herald in 2000.[2] She has covered many national news stories, including the September 11, 2001 attacks, The Station nightclub fire in West Warwick, Rhode Island, the 2000 Wakefield massacre at Edgewater Technology and the Virginia Tech massacre.

Heslam formerly wrote the MediaBiz column, but was promoted to news columnist in 2011.[1][3]

She is married to author/communications strategist and former Herald political/investigative reporter Dave Wedge.
