Work for Minecraft[edit]

Pixels Perfect On the 29th of January 2020, Jessie created her company PixelPlay (former name of Pixels Perfect) and posted her first minecraft map to MCPEDL called "Simple KitPvP."[1] Initially, her first couple of projects to become popular included the Pixels Skyblock map and the Better Skyblock map. From this point onwards she would continue creating Minecraft content under the alias of jesser101 and PixelPlay.

In 2022 PixelPlay was renamed to Pixels Perfect, and subsequently her YouTube channel was renamed to Jessie101. A new website for Pixels Perfect was also released. Notable projects published by Jessie101 through Pixels Perfect, include Better Skyblock, Hardcore Mode, MCBE Advancements, Time Stop, Nightmare Difficulty, Baby Mode++, Minecraft Manhunt addon and Jessie101's Tutorial World.

As of November 2022, Jessie's content had accumulated more than 10 million total downloads.[2]

YouTube[edit]

Publishing her first video on May 12, 2020, Jessie found early success on YouTube. Within a few weeks that video named "How to Auto-Smelt Ores in Minecraft (Bedrock Edition) - Tutorial Series #001" garnered over 10,000 views & helped to provide a starting point for her channel. Over the next couple of years Jessie would create content mostly in relation to command block tutorials in Minecraft Bedrock Edition; known as Jessie101's Tutorial Series.[3] She also created addon & map showcases of Minecraft content that she created.

Within a year, in September of 2021, Jessie101 surpassed the 10,000 subscriber milestone. As of 18 November, 2022, she has accumulated over 14,600 subscribers and approximately 1.9 million views.[4]

Personal life[edit]

In her YouTube video on 29 September 2021, titled "Where Have I Been? + FACE REVEAL!!", Jessie101 came out as transgender.[5]

On her Twitter on 23 March, 2022, she announced the possibility of rebranding her channel from jesser101 to JessieBestie.[6] Jessie ultimately changed her YouTube username to Jessie101 instead, stating that the previous username "jesser101" didn't reflect who she was, as it was more masculine-leaning.[7]
