Jessie Zhao
Jessie Zhao (born in China) is an Asian American fashion designer. Based in New York City, she is known for her hand-drawn floral prints and colorful silk scarves.
Biography
She graduated from Donghua University in Shanghai with a Bachelor of Fine Art and later pursued her passion for design in the United States where she received a Master of Fine Arts from Memphis College of Arts.
In 2018, she launched the Jessie Zhao label and her collection is now sold at Smithsonian Museum. In 2020, Jessie was nominated for accessories designer of the day by the ABC Tamron Hall Show. In 2021, her scarf was named the featured design in the Parade magazine,[1] Jessie was named the featured brand by the Stylist UK in the same year.[2] Her scarf was nominated for “The Best Silk Scarves for Summer” by the Cosmopolitan magazine.[3]
Jessie Zhao’s fashion line includes scarves, leggings, and dresses with clients in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
