Introduction
Jet Tern Marine is a shipyard founded in 1998 by Howard Chen.[1] JTM is known for its use of innovative materials and construction techniques. The company's yachts are built using a combination of fiberglass, carbon fiber, and steel, which results in a strong, lightweight hull that is both fuel-efficient and seaworthy. JTM also uses a variety of other advanced technologies, such as computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-numerical control (CNC) machining, to ensure that each yacht is built to the highest possible standards.
In addition to its technical expertise, Jet Tern Marine is also known for its attention to detail and its commitment to customer service. The company's team of experienced designers and craftsmen work closely with each owner to create a yacht that is both stylish and functional. The shipyard also offers a wide range of customization options, so that each owner can create a yacht that is truly unique.[2]

The Zhuhai shipyard has two workshops, A and B, that are each about 150,000 square feet in size, as well as a 32,000 square foot warehouse. Workshop B, the largest single production facility in Asia, with four cranes that can lift 100 tons. It has room for 36 sets of molds or boats that are being built.[3]

Jet Tern Marine Yacht Types[edit]
Over the years, Jet Tern Marine has produced hundreds of yachts. Selene Yachts and Artemis Yachts are the two brands/categories into which all of these yachts can be divided. Although both labels focus on the ships' overall quality and customized nature, there is one significant distinction: the usage. Selene Yachts are better suited for long-term habitation and cruising.[7] Artemis Yachts are better suited for Short- to medium-length cruises lasting a short- to medium-length of time.
