Jethro Chinwe-Otito Abara born at Imo State, Nigeria is a Nigerian reggae,Dancehall and Afrobeat singer, professionally known by his artist name Jethro Lion, became prominent in the Nigeria music industry after releasing his most popular maxi singles like Sweet Reggae Music and Letter Fi Mama .

Early Life[edit]

Jethro is a native of Ezinihitte Mbaise, in Imo state and the third of four children. Born by Late Mr Janna Ibe Abara and Mrs Margareth Abara and Lives in Lagos state, Nigeria. His interest in music began when his mother took him to a music studio when she was working on her second album in the year 1998

Career[edit]

In 2015, he performed at the Africa meet reggae world music festival alongside with legends , veteran Nigerian reggae artiste like Majek Fashek, Victor Essiet The Mandator, Ras Kimono, Pupa Oritz Wiliki sand other famous artists like Burna Boy, Oritse Femi Black Rasta and graced the same stage at same show in 2016 with international artiste Eljait and Nkule Dube daughter of the late great Lucky Dube, Victor Essiet of the Mandators, Sheyi Shay, King Wadada and many more. He signed three years distribution deal to launch and promote his current single “Am Blessed” to the world market. The New York-based record label is a sub-label of VP Records Music Group since 2009, distributing mainstream Jamaican dancehall superstars and reggae acts like Sean Paul, Beenie Man, Elephant Man, Lady Saw, Mavado, Busy Signal and other mainstream reggae acts.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; invalid names, e.g. too many
