Jeton Aziri (born September 16, 1981 in Zarbince, Serbia, Yugoslavia) is an Albanian-American activist and singer.

Background

On March 1999, Aziri fled unrest in Kosovo and walked into neighbouring Republic of Macedonia. In Macedonia, he completed his high school junior year and on August 1999, from Camp Stankovec II, he migrated to the United States. In the United States, Aziri graduated:

Aziri is co-founder of the first Albanian-American Association of its kind in South-East America, called "Albanian-American Association - Bashkimi". During 2004-2005, he was the Secretary/Chairman of "Bashkimi". In early 2006, Aziri was offered the post of President for "Bashkimi", however, it was rejected due to his study obligations.

Aziri has been long devoted to easing the pain for those less fortunate in Kosovo and America. His volunteer contributions began as Coordinator of the "Save the Children" organization in Macedonia from 1998 to 1999. Later, from 2002 to 2003 in Atlanta, GA, he served as Director for the "Children of Kosovo" program. In 2004, he contributed to the "Hospis" organization and later that year to the "First Baptist Church [disambiguation needed]" church.

During 2001-2009, Jeton Aziri organized and hosted more than 104 concerts across the United States. 95% of these concerts were non-profit, charitable, and promoted cultural awareness and shared values.

During 2007-2009, Aziri led a Non-profit organization called "Albanian-American Consulting Group". Its mission statement is:

In partnership with Pro linguistics, Aziri contributed in observing, counseling, fundraising, court representation, and translation for the Albanian community located in the South-East Region of the United States of America.

In September 2008, Aziri founded the "American-Balkanian Prosperous Group" organization.

In February 2009, Aziri, in accordance with ABPG, hosted the "Ballkans Vision" seminar, attended by representatives from Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Greece, Bulgaria, and Romania.

From July to August 2009, Aziri presented speeches on "Multiculturalism and Value Sharing" during his "Ballkan 5" visit to Belgrade, Skopje, Tirana, Zagreb, and Sarajevo.

In August 2009, Aziri met with the President of Kosovo, Fatmir Sejdiu.

Family

Jeton Aziri resides in Atlanta with his wife Bona. They met during his Balkans' visit, where he presented speeches on multiculturalism. She emigrated to the United States in 2010 and significantly contributes to his organizations.
