Jo Bury
Jo Bury was until 2012, Managing Director of VIB (the Flanders Institute for Biotechnology) and previously held the post of Managing Director of VLAB (Flanders Action Programme in Biotechnology).
Bury obtained a master's degree in Pharmacy and a PhD of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Ghent. He obtained an MBA degree at the Vlerick School for Management in Ghent. After performing scientific research in the field of atherosclerosis[1] during several years, he continued his career in science policy.
