Joe Mack is an American catcher for Williamsville East High School. He is considered a top prospect for the 2021 Major League Baseball draft.
Amateur career
Mack lives in East Amherst, New York and attends Williamsville East High School.[1] As a sophomore, Mack batted .462 with four home runs and was named All-Western New York.[2][3] His junior season was canceled due to Covid-19.[4] Mack played in the 2020 Perfect Game All-American Classic.[5] He entered his senior year as the top-ranked baseball player in the state of New York by MaxPreps and as one of the best catching prospects in the 2021 Major League Baseball draft.[6][7]
Personal life
Mack's older brother, Charles, played shortstop at Williamsville East and was selected in the 6th round of the 2018 Major League Baseball draft.[8] His sister, Christy, plays softball at the University of Hartford.[9]
