Johannes Daniel Becht (born 22 June 1998) is a German Journalist, Actor, Filmmaker and Marketing Manager. He is known for his work on Consume (2023), Bloodstained Ivory (2025), Resurrection Road (2025) and Pallaton (2024).
Becht grew up in Pforzheim, Germany. He spent several years of his childhood and teenage years in Heidelberg and Koblenz.
At the age of 15, he started working as a freelancer in the online department of the Pforzheimer Zeitung, a local daily newspaper. Becht continued working there as a freelancer until 2019, while also contributing to the sports department.
After completing high school in 2016, he conducted two internships before moving to Frankfurt to pursue a degree in American and English Studies at the Johann Wolfgang von Goethe University. During that time, he worked as a copywriter for a local travel agency specializing in luxury vacations to South East Africa.
At the age of 21, he moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma, USA, to study Strategic Communication with a minor in Film Production at Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
During that time, he started working for The Southwestern, the student news site. He almost singlehandedly completed the already planned transition from print to online-only by designing a website and producing content during Covid-19 and started increasing campus-wide recognition and reach of the news site by taking over social media, writing articles, producing videos and taking care of SEO.
In summer 2022, he conducted an internship at The Lawton Constitution as a multimedia reporter which led to full-time and part-time employment in summer 2023 and fall 2023, respectively.
He is also contributing to several short films as an actor, assistant director and audio/camera assistant. He had roles as a background actor in professional feature film productions such as Resurrection Road (2025) and Bloodstained Ivory (2025) and produced his own short film Pallaton in 2023.
Since March 2024, Becht has been working as Digital Marketing Manager and Copywriter at WEVENTURE Performance.
