John Marques is a Portuguese internet personality[1], fashion influencer and authority in luxury [2] based in Dubai[3]. Due to his presence on Instagram[4], on March 2018 he was ranked among the top influencers in the Gulf region according to Esquire Middle East's first social media influencer dedicated issue. [5]

Early Life & Education[edit]

Marques was born January 15, 1993 in Évora, Portugal. His studies started with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Universidade Lusófona in Lisbon and followed with a Master of Science in Luxury Business by the International University of Monaco.[6][7]

Career[edit]

When it comes to social media, Marques started his blog on luxury in 2011 while studying in Lisbon.[8][9] It wasn't until he moved to Monaco that his social media presence started gaining notoriety. [10][11] After graduating from Masters, he joined W Motors as its Marketing and communications Director and was responsible for the launch of the Fenyr SuperSport sports-car. [12][13] Over the years, his profile grew and Marques ended up working with brands like Rolls Royce[14], Franck Muller[15], Emaar[16], Dubai Tourism[17], etc.

Over the years he became an authority in luxury for Dubai and the Middle East.[18]
