John Denis Riley is a New Zealand diplomat who works in South Korea as the Deputy Head of Mission for the New Zealand Embassy in Seoul.[1] [2] He is also a cast member of the variety show Where Is My Friend's Home. Riley was introduced to the show through former pro-gamer Guillaume Patry and has traveled to Canada, New Zealand and Jeju island as part of the show. [3]

Personal[edit]

Riley is fluent in English, Maori and Korean. He is passionate about Māori culture as well as singing (including K-pop) and playing guitar. [4] He is also known for being a fitness freak and for his often excitable personality.[5] Riley grew up in Auckland and graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Arts degree. His grandfather is New Zealand Māori from the Te Rarawa tribe.[6]
