John Yerou (born 23 June 1964) is a British businessman who has worked in Asia as the vice president of Telular. He is now the owner, founder and managing director of Freelancer Financials, a brand of Mortgage Quest Ltd.
Career[edit]
Telular[edit]
By 1999, Yerou was the vice president of Telular Inc. for the Asia/Pacific region in Singapore. Telular is a wireless local loop vendor based in the United States.[1] Telular is a NASDAQ listed company focused on wireless technology.[2]
Mortgage Quest Ltd[edit]
Yerou started his company Mortgage Quest Ltd in 2004,[3] and from that organization he established Freelancer Financials and is its managing director.[4][5] Freelancer Financials was established based upon how difficult it can be to secure mortgages for contractors and freelancers.[6][7] By negotiating the underwriting criteria for assessing a contractor’s relevant earnings for lending purposes, those lenders’ perceptions changed and the resultant products are now commonly referred to as contractor mortgages, enabling contractors to borrow based on a multiple of their contract rate alone.[5]
