Jordan Cockeram (born September 14, 1991) is an American politician who has served as a Business License Commissioner of West Hollywood since 2023.[1] Cockeram is currently running for a seat on West Hollywood City Council.[2]

Early life and career

Cockeram was born in 1991 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to an attorney and a police officer.[3] Cockeram graduated with a degree in Business and Finance from the University of Minnesota. From an early age, he was involved in political campaigns, including canvassing against 2012 Minnesota Amendment 1. When Cockeram moved to West Hollywood he volunteered on West Hollywood City Council member John Heilman's campaign.[4]

Current career

Since 2023, Jordan Cockeram has served on the West Hollywood Business License Commission. In this role, Cockeram oversees the issuance of business licenses and ensures compliance with local regulations, focusing on creating a supportive environment for local businesses.[1] His initiatives have aimed to streamline processes and enhance community relations with entrepreneurs in West Hollywood.[5]

As of 2024, Cockeram is a candidate for the West Hollywood City Council.
