Early life
Jordan Michael Nancarrow was born in Renton, WA. He was born a single child for over twenty years until he had a brother arrive when he was twenty years old. Growing up, Jordan had the vision of wanting to play professional basketball. His mainland was the gym, training everyday while balancing school and AAU basketball during the times of middle school and high school. He went on to be a former graduate of the LeBron James King's Academy in 2010 and years 2011-2013 became a graduate of the Michael Jordan Flight School as well. Senior year, he got cut from the high school basketball team because of bad grades. Prior to senior year, he accidentally bumped into a drama teacher in the hallway, ending up leading into a conversation that he should audition for the school play "Man of La Mancha". Junior and Senior year, he then went on to lead the roles in Hairspray (Seaweed J. Stubbs) and West Side Story (Bernardo). Since then, he's paved the way in Entertainment as his ultimate purpose in life.[2]
Career
Jordan's career began at the age of sixteen when he first met his theater teacher in the hallway. Entertainment was never a career choice of his at the time as his whole focus was to play professional basketball in the future. The same year Jordan graduated high school, his career started to elevate as he got an agent. In 2017, Jordan was a public speaker for Microsoft presenting their new products as he does have experience in this field introducing its latest innovations and products in London and Orlando and will pursue this along with film and television.[3]
A year later, he was then cast as a jock in the Christmas horror film “Holiday Hell”. A few months down the road is when “HillTop” premiered and got a lot of conversations going - Based on the life of a biracial teenager's diary, Hilltop shares a glimpse into the life of five teenagers living in Tacoma, Washington during the summer of 1988 (also known as Tacompton). Jordan Nancarrow is now working with ICTV, a television network and streaming platform that highlights HBCU sports and events, underrepresented content creators, films, television shows, and documentaries.[3] The network features the types of stories that people do not usually see. In the years of 2019–2020, he started to become more known for his work he creates on social media (primarily Instagram) which is where he's gotten a lot of attention from when it comes to business.
2021 has projects that have been wrapped and are in the filming process, as well as gearing towards more films and projects in the coming months.[4][5]
Achievements
He was nominated by Yahoo Life as The Top 20 Instagram Accounts to follow in 2021 which is why he's amongst the small percentage of actors who pursue content creation and entertainment at the same time. In 2018, he gained prominence with the supporting role of Cordelle in Game On (a coming-of-age stoner comedy) Since then, he has had a variety of roles in several films and shows.[6]
