Jorg Neumann is the head developer of the 2020 iteration of the Microsoft Flight Simulator franchise.[1][2][3][4] He has been in his current role since May 2019, but has been employed by Microsoft since 2006. A graduate of the University of Freiburg, where he studied from 1986 to 1994, Neumann moved to the United States in 1995[5] from his native Germany.[6]

During the late 1990s and early 2000s, Neumann had various roles as a computer-game developer.[7] He was studio head at Microsoft's Kinect from 2009 to 2012.[8]

Personal life[edit]
