Jorge Azar is a Uruguayan artist painter, sculptor[2][3] and activist. He has founded "Art for Charity". He exhibits outside the art gallery circuit, and normally produces no more than 10 to 12 works per year.[citation needed] Trademark paintings include "Striped Women Series", "Hope Series" and "Eyes Series". Azar is the creator of the Liquid Glass Technique over Acrylic Paint.[citation needed]
Art for Charity[edit]
Azar founded Art for Charity and is probably to this date one of the few well known artists worldwide who donates the complete proceeds of his works.[citation needed] Many charities and NGOs around the world have benefited in addition to United Nations and UNICEF.[citation needed]
