Joseph Anthony Burke (born November 30, 1979) is an American artist, philanthropist and musician from Neon, Kentucky whose life's work is dedicated solely to hemophilia advocacy, awareness and education. Burke is a member of the Hemophilia Foundation of Greater Florida, and garners a close friendship with world famed Broadway performance group, Blue Man Group.[1][2][3][4]

Musical career[edit]

Burke began releasing his original compositions under a former username "rotcav" around 2001 on the former popular mp3 uploading site, mp3.com. Under this username, he produced 2 albums during his time attending university. In 2001, Burke started a web site, that was to become the official fan base, for Broadway's Blue Man Group. It was here, he established a base of ideas and concepts that would inspire him to create new music and sounds, and later under his own name, discarding his "rotcav" persona.

Style[edit]

Burke uses his own sampling and instruments to create a soundscape of music ranging from electronic music, ambient, new age and easy listening using synthesizers and PC-controlled instruments. He combines sounds, and patterns to create a sort of improvised recording experience that captures moods, emotions and feelings. The result is a soundscape of sound that will trance, calm and relax your mind. He can be seen on his YouTube profile where he plays instruments in various forms.
