Paul F Glenn
Paul F. Glenn (1930–2020) was a successful commodities trader who helped form Cycad Group, a venture capital firm based in Santa Barbara. [1] [2]
He was born and raised in Sharon, Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy ('48), Princeton University ('52) and Harvard Law School ('55). [3]
He helped form the Glenn Foundation for Medical Research in 1965, which is known as the world's oldest private philanthropic funder for aging research.[4] [5] [6]
In 2005, he helped commit $5 million to Harvard Medical School over five years to launch the Paul F. Glenn Laboratories for the Biological Mechanisms of Aging. [7]
