Joshua Wole Osatimehin

Joshua Wole Osatimehin is the Commander-General of Nigeria Hunters and Forestry Security Service and one of the members of Board of Governors, Institute of Public Safety, Conservation and Corrections.

Early life and education

He was born into a Yoruba family in Ado Ekiti on 29th August 1983. He started his Primary Education at Apostolic Primary School, Orun Ekiti, Ekiti State in 1987. He then proceeded to Community Grammar School, Orun Ekiti.

At the tertiary level, he attended University of Ibadan where he studied Botany and microbiology and obtained a BSc (Honours) degree. He also holds an MSc in Security and Strategic Studies from Nasarawa State University.

Other activities

He is an Honorary Doctor of Forensic and Leadership Administration and also a member of the Forensic Security Council.
