Christopher R. Mix (known online as Mixtopher) is an American livestreamer, content creator, and author based in Arizona. Active on Twitch since 2012, he is known for his long-running franchise gaming marathons, creative storytelling, and for writing the cyberpunk–fantasy book trilogy Son of Syn.
Career
Mix began livestreaming on Twitch in February 2012 under the name Mixtopher. His broadcasts feature a wide variety of games, often presented in themed events or full-franchise playthroughs. Over more than a decade of regular broadcasting, he has developed a dedicated community of viewers known for supporting interactive charity events, milestone celebrations, and creative projects related to his writing.
Before Twitch’s 2020 closure, Mix was also a Mixer partner and has collaborated with hardware and software brands such as AverMedia, Streamlabs, and Discord. AverMedia featured him in an official Creator Spotlight article highlighting his longevity as a content creator and technical setup.[1]
Writing
Mix is the founder of Bee Creative Studios LLC, an independent creative company through which he publishes his literary works. His cyberpunk–fantasy trilogy Son of Syn includes:

- Son of Syn – Sins of Our Father (2024)
The trilogy blends cyberpunk aesthetics with dark fantasy elements, following a protagonist named Clain through the futuristic setting of New Beam City. Mix collaborates with visual artists such as Ariel ZB for cover art and character illustrations.
Themes and reception
The Son of Syn series has been described by readers as stylistically cinematic and thematically centered on identity, technology, and morality in post-digital societies.[2]
Personal life
Mix resides in Arizona, where he continues to write, illustrate, and stream regularly. Through Bee Creative Studios, he produces multimedia projects expanding the Son of Syn universe.
