Ijumdiya Dominic Wadzani[1][2] known by his stage name Juiceslf, is a Nigerian rapper and singer. He gained widespread recognition in 2019 after his self-debut album Cracking, went viral on social media which reached the top 100 of the Apple Music charts for Nigeria.[3][4] in which he was been nominated the Rookie of the year at The Headies 2022.[5] and was signed to Steadee Records.[6]
Early Life and Career[edit]
Juiceslf was raised in the Nigerian city of Madagali and hails from Adamawa State. he comes from a musical family in which his grand father played instruments for the singer Fela Kuti the music legend.[7][8] before then his grandpa passed away in 2014, but later then he put more interest in music and started as a choir member in church and later started playing drums and guitar in which it helped him in his music career.[9]
He also lives in a violence community of where they have usually been attacked by terrorist Chakawa and Kawuri attacks Boko Haram.[10][11] in which led to him to put more effort in his music career and wrote some books about his community condition.[12][13]
2019: Cracking[edit]
Juiceslf's debut studio album Cracking (album) was released in 2019. Its lead single "cost" charted on several radio stations in Lagos and across Nigeria.
