Jukely is a concert subscription service founded in New York in 2012 by Bora Celik. It provides its members access to concerts and other live music events for a flat rate to its members.[1][2][3][4]
Services[edit]
Available for iOS, Android and online, Jukely is currently operational in 16 cities total, 14 across the United States as well as in London, England and Toronto, ON.[5][6][7][8][9][10][11] The service is provided through a mobile app available on iOS and Android as well as a web platform. Available events can be browsed through the service chronologically, filtered by city.
Jukely obtains its events through partnerships with venues and promoters who provide the service with their excess inventory in exchange for a payout that is typically lower than the face value of the ticket.[12] Previously, access to the events on the platform was limited only through availability of spots, but as of October 1, 2017, members were limited to a certain number of events per month based on their membership tier.[13]
Jukely also offers ticket contests to both members and non-members, custom Spotify playlists based on shows available on the platform under the name Gigstape, and a ticket for credit exchange program called Jukely Trade.[14]
History[edit]
Jukely raised several Angel funding rounds in 2013. In October 2014, Jukely raised its first Seed funding round of $2.4 million, led by investors 14W and Northzone.[15] In April 2015, the company raised another Seed funding round of $8 million, once again led by Northzone.[16]
