Junk Journaling (known as Smashbook)[1] it is a process of upcycling and recycling printed materials like books, magazines, brochures, patterned paper, music sheets, envelopes, packaging, brown paper bags, maps, greeting cards, and post cards into a recycled journal that is made up of well-on theme.[2] as indicated on a book that used similarly to Scrapbooking.[3][4]
As similar on a Diary, it is also to record an document of an thought, memories, or occasions like putting down any mementos like pictures, souvenirs and papers or making an artistic way instead on writing down about in an ordinary diary.
