David Shane (born Shane Bojarski on March 24th, 1993 in Glendale, Arizona) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician in the Pop music genre.

He sings and plays all the instruments on his recorded music and is known for the depth of his songwriting. Shane covers many different moods and emotions which resonate with Pop Music fans of all ages.

David Shane’s star has continued to grow with numerous song placements in television and movies as well as a large following on Instagram, Soundcloud, and Youtube.

Career[edit]

David Shane was first recognized for his music when he won the first ever Outstanding Guitarist Award at Desert Harbor Elementary School in Peoria, Arizona and performed the US National Anthem at his graduation ceremony. Shane continued his education at Centennial High School and then Glendale Community College were he graduated with 2 associate degrees (Sound Design and Audio Production Technologies)

At age 13, Shane released his self-titled debut album Shane Bojarski. The lead single “City Boy”  got him his first taste of fame when it was picked up by radio stations and music video channels throughout Australia, and gained substantial airplay and recognition in San Francisco, CA.

Another song from these early recordings, “Rewind” (under the artist name Shane Bojarski) was selected for placement on the long running Canadian TV Drama series “Heartland.”[1] Since then his music has been used in other popular television shows such as “Home and Away” and “American Rehab.”

Other songs under his previous artist name Shane Bojarski including "This Is Love" & "Nightlife" were purchased by Universal Music Group/ FirstCom and since then have been placed on several tv shows, radio programs, and movies.

David Shane has also written songs for such well-known publishing companies as Crucial Music, Music Supervisor, and JC3 Publishing.

The song “Good Life” was highly reviewed (4.5 out of 5 Stars) by 11x Grammy Award Winning Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds.

In 2017 David Shane finished recording his album Broken Alive with Los Angeles music producer/engineer Hagay Mizrahi of Gemini Musiq, whose credits include Snoop Dogg and Post Malone.[2] Shane also recently collaborated with Billboard Top 40 Charting Artists VESSBROZ.

David Shane has been organically building a large social media following as well. As of September 2018, he has 50k+ Instagram followers, 125k YouTube views, and 280k+ Soundcloud streams. Shane is also Facebook, Spotify and Shazam verified.

In July of 2018, David Shane’s song “Shooting Star” was added to the Spotify ‘iTunes US TOP 100 Charts’ Playlist with over 53K followers.

August of 2018 saw the release of a collaboration with DJ QUIX and DJ VINCENT called “Hero” on Steve Aoki’s DIM MAK Record label. The song has already been performed at both the SHAMBHALA 2018 and AUDIOTISTIC 2018 music festivals in front of large crowds.

“Hero” was added to the well-known "Friday Cratediggers" playlist (184k followers) along with such artists as Marshmello, Calvin Harris, Charlie Puth, Bastille, and Afrojack.

Currently David Shane is working with producer Taylor Sparks on an upcoming Pop Funk album.
