Career
Pre-debut: ShowBT auditions
In 2016, Justin underwent training while working to finish his thesis and graduate on time. He received a slot for the final line-up for SB19 as the sub-vocalist.[3] Justin's music inspirations were Filipino RnB singer-songwriter Michael Pangilinan and South Korean boy band Got7.[4] He also admired South Korean boy band Astro, BTS and South Korean girl group Twice.
2018-2021: SB19
On 26 October 2018, Justin debuted with fellow members Josh, Pablo, Stell, and Ken with "Tilaluha" written by Pablo himself.[5][6] He is also the creative director of "What?", the first single of their extended play Pagsibol.[7][8] Justin was involved mostly on this side of the band's music production as manifested in their previous music video "Hanggang sa Huli".[9][10]
2022–present
Justin serves as a co-creative director for the "Pagsibol" merchandise project, pitching in his input for all the studies and acting as liaison for the rest of the group when it comes to creative decisions.[11]
