Kanche

Kanche (sometimes spelled “kancha”) is a traditional game played in villages all across India and is similar to other marble games played in North America. Depending on what part of India you’re in, people may also call this game “Goti,” “Kuzhangal,” “Anchankal,” or “Kallankal.” Equipment needed As many marbles as you would like to play with. How to Play Draw a circle in the dirt or use chalk to draw a circle on pavement. If playing indoors, you could use tape to outline a circle. Spread most of your marbles out within the circle. Distribute the remaining marbles, one to each player. It helps if these marbles are a different color from the marbles on the ground. Each player gets a turn to shoot their marble into the circle. Any marbles they knock out of the circle go to the shooter. {Shooting technique: Bend your index or middle finger backward slightly, place the marble on the fingertip, and release the finger which will shoot the marble forward.} Play rotates from shooter to shooter until all marbles are claimed. The player with the most marbles wins.
