In May 1950 167th Division(Chinese: 第167师) (2nd formation) was activated. The division was constructed by the defected ROC Army 20th Army Group soldiers.
The division was composed of:
- 499th Regiment - former ROCA 9th Division, 2nd Corps
- 500th Regiment - former ROCA 243rd Division, 9th Corps
- 501st Regiment - former ROCA 298th Division, 118th Corps
The division was composed of 6432 personnel.
In October 1950 the division was disbanded. The bulk of its personnel was absorbed into the 150th Division.
