KYKLOS IDEON (“Circle of ideas”) is a think tank and a forum for public debate and innovative thinking..[1] It was founded in December 2015 by Professor Evangelos Venizelos, a former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Kyklos Ideon focuses on the organization of open events, conferences and thematic workshops with reference to the following issues: Democracy – Independent Institutions- Constitution, Economic Growth and Development, Foreign Affairs Policy, European Integration, Education, 4th Industrial Revolution, Climate Change, Risk Society, Pandemic.
Kyklos Ideon partners with think tanks from Greece and abroad, and established international organizations: Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung,[2][3] Hanns Seidel Stiftung,[4] Hellenic Association for European Law,[5][6] Delphi Economic Forum,[7] CECL,[8] Diktio,[9] International Economic Relations (IDOS),[10][11] KEFIM,[12] and others.
In the period 2020-21, Kyklos Ideon has implemented two projects funded by the NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division[13]: “NATO and New Security Dilemmas” [14] Debating Security for the next decade.
From 2016 KYKLOS IDEON organized annually series of conferences with the brand name "Ellada Meta", with the support of SYMEON G. TSOMOKOS SA[15] and the participation of policy makers, experts, politicians from Greece and abroad. The 2021 conference has focused on the question “From crisis to normality, or crisis as normality?”.
