Kaamini Khanna was born to Late Nirmala Devi, well known Indian Classical Singer and Arun Ahuja. Her daughter Ragini Khanna[2] is known for Bhaskar Bharti, Sasural gendha Phool and son Amit Khanna is known for Ye Dil Chahe More, Ye Hai Mohabbatein, Jodha Akbar.[3] Kaamini Khanna is the sister of former Member of Parliament and Actor Mr. Govinda, aunt of comedian Krishna, sister of director Kirti Kumar.[4]

She was an RJ at BIG FM.[5] She provides astrological help as well as physical fitness tips and is keen to help women who are facing challenges due to lack of time. She practically transformed herself in 6 years by her own will power and dedication. Music has also played a vital role in her life she has been a singer and music director in the past and she also has a Sufi album which was launched in 2014 under the record label Venus Worldwide Entertainment.
