Kakaraparthi Bhavanarayana College is an Indian educational institution located in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Most course as the college, which was established in 1965, are conducted in the English language.

History[edit]

The college was founded by Kakaraparthi Bhavanarayana Sresti with the foundation stone being laid on 6 November 1964 by Kasu Brahmananda Reddy, then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The college opened in July 1965 with 220 students and 15 staff. The founding Principal was S. Sundaram.

Institution[edit]

The college has a state of the art library with over 37,000 volumes. The college also features an indoor stadium and an open-air theatre with a 2,500 seating capacity.
