The National Learning Institute (Spanish: Instituto Nacional de Aprendizaje) is an autonomous institution of Costa Rica that is dedicated to the teaching of trade, craftsmanship and technical disciplines. It offers different training courses in many locations throughout the country, focusing mainly on operational and technical studies that do not require having completed high school education. Some of them are; English language, tourism, cabinetry, computing, food manipulation, electromechanics and others.

The INA was created by Law No. 3506 on 21 May 1965, amended on 6 May 1983. On 18 February 2000, the Worker Protection Law amended Article 89 in relation to financing and on 17 May 2002, the Law on Strengthening Small and Medium-sized Enterprises amended the Organic Law of the INA.[1]
