Kama Ayurveda is an Indian Ayurvedic skincare and wellness brand founded in 2002, headquartered in Noida, UP, India.[1][2]

History[edit]

Kama Ayurveda was founded by Vivek Sahni, Dave Chang, Rajshree Pathy, and Vikram Goyal in 2002. Kama Ayurveda launched with Ayurvedic treatments, developed in partnership with the 100-year-old Arya Vaidya Pharmacy in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Later, it extended the categories of skin, hair, body and wellness.[3][4]

Its e-commerce venture started in 2016 and currently caters to India & International markets. Kama Ayurveda has 55 brand stores, 45 shop-in-shops across India and is also present in luxe hotel chains and also serves in US, Canada, Europe.[5][6][7][8]

Partnership and Funding[edit]

In 2014, US-based company Lighthouse Funds invested in Kama Ayurveda.[9][10]

In 2019, Spanish fashion and fragrance company Puig invested in Kama Ayurveda.[11][12]

Promotion[edit]

The brand's products are promoted by Bollywood's actors Mira Kapoor,[13] Dia Mirza, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sameera Reddy.[14][15][16]
