Kamal Kumar (Nepali: कमल कुमार) is a Nepali Journalist and filmmaker. He is also the Director of Herne Katha, a television web series started March 2018.


Kamal worked as Producer and Creative Producer for Sajha Sawal, a TV debate show produced by BBC Media Action in Nepal. He co-founded Herne Katha with Bidhya Chapagain in January 2018.[1]

Kamal's directional debut Marisakeko Manchhe (The Man Who Died Once) won the best documentary award in Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival 2018[2].
