Martin Hůlovec (born November 22, 1978, Prague) is a Czech film producer and co-founder of the production company Punk Film.
Life and education[edit]
Hůlovec was born and raised in Prague (Czech Republic). In 1997 he started attending the Faculty of Humanities at Charles University in Prague, where he earned a bachelor degree. From the year 1999 he also studied film production at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague where he received the Master of Arts degree.

Film Production[edit]
He began his production career in 2002, when he became an executive producer and co-producer of student festival AMUMRAJ and organized the FAMU student section at the Venice Film festival.
In 2003 he and his partners Ondřej Beránek and Jakub Drocár founded the production company Punk Film. By the year 2018 the company has produced an epic Czech fairytale "The Magic Quill", several documentaries, mid-length movies, an animated film and co-produced multiple Bollywood features[1]. The company also produces TV commercials and Music Videos.
