Nowadays it is also used in Buddhist monasteries in Burmese and Mon, especially in the Burmese Buddhist areas within Myanmar.[1] It is normally written from left to right but it form is written from top to bottom.[1] It is also considered to be the standard Pali-calligraphic script.
