Kang Quintus (born September 17, 1987, in Wum) is a Cameroonian actor, director, screenwriter and producer
Early life
Kang Quintus was born on September 17, 1987 in Wum in the North West region of Cameroon.[1]
Career
He is best known for his film The Fisherman's Diary,[2] which is the first Cameroonian film released on Netflix.[citation needed] This film earned Kang Quintus dozens of awards and prizes.[3][unreliable source] It is nominated for the Paris Art and Movies Awards (PAMA) in 5 categories (best film, best actor, best director, best film music and best production).[4] He is also the writer and director of the best Cameroonian movie yet, Nganù,[5][unreliable source] which has yet won him various recognitions both nationally and internationally. He has been an ambassador for Orange Cameroon company since April 29, 2021.[8]
Kang Quintus is CEO of Kang Quintus Entertainment Ltd,[9][unreliable source?] which in April 2023 becomes a Netflix aggregator whose objective is to facilitate the distribution of the best African films.[9][unreliable source?][10][11]
