Blaise Ntedju, also known as Blaise Option, is a Cameroonian actor, director, screenwriter and film producer born on 1978 February 19 in Douala.[1] He has made about ten films and series broadcast on various African television channels.
Biography
Childhood and beginnings
Blaise Ntedju was born on 19 February 1978 in Douala and is from the West Cameroon Region. He has been passionate about cinema since his childhood[2]. In 1996, he opened his first film society, an activity he pursued for seven years while writing his own scripts.
Training
In 2015, he trained as a filmmaker and enrolled in the Canada Online Film Course where he trained for 6 months.[3]
Career
In 2014, he started making films where he called on another director and together they made his first feature film entitled Conséquences Tribales.[1] After his directorial training in 2015, he directed his second feature film entitled Engagement Mortel released on 30 November. The film was selected for the 2016 Écran Noirs Festival.[4] The Cameroonian director did not stop there, he continued with his third release titled Miranda which is in competition for the Festival Écrans Noirs 2017. [5]
He is the CEO of ORIMO Production (Original Movies Production)[6].
