Kano Applications Inc is a self-funded Canadian indie gaming studio based in Victoria. Founded in October 2008 to create F2P cross platform social games for mobile and web platforms.[1]

History[edit]

In 2008 Kano released their first game Viking Clan in partnership with the developer behind Mob Wars. Viking Clan gained 250,000 players within weeks of its launch on Facebook and MySpace.[2] Viking Clan’s success was followed by Mob Wars: La Cosa Nostra and others.

In 2020 Kano released FUBAR: Just Give’r, a project in collaboration with Vancouver’s Eastside Games.[3][4]

In 2021 Kano announced a partnership with Eastside Games to release 3 more titles for iOS and Android.[5] Idle Distiller is the 1st of the 3 announced with a targeted launch date of Q3 2021.
