Kano Fujihira (藤平 華乃 Fujihira Kano, born August 28, 2004) is a Japanese idol. She is the "Student Council President" of the idol group Sakura Gakuin and is represented by the talent agency Amuse, Inc..
Career[edit]
Kano Fujihira was recruited by the talent agency Amuse, Inc. in 2014 after participating in an audition organized jointly by magazines KIDS-TOKEI and De☆View which she learnt of while shopping with her family.[2]
In June 2015, Fujihira became the youngest member of idol group Sakura Gakuin which she joined in along with six other new members.[3] In November 2016 she also became a member of Sakura Gakuin's subunit "sleepiece"[4] which performs covers of classic Japanese pop songs from late 20th century while dressed in pyjamas.[5]
Between December 2017 and April 2018, Fujihira appeared regularly as Note-chan on NHK Educational TV program "BitWorld". She was also set to appear as young Shion Watanabe[6] in live-action film Inuyashiki, but her scenes didn't make the final cut.
In May 2018, Fujihira became Sakura Gakuin's "Performance Chairperson".[7] In May 2019, she became the 9th "Student Council President" of the group.[8]
In 2019, Fujihira became one of three support dancers (Avengers) of the kawaii metal group Babymetal and first appeared in concert along Su-metal and Moametal on June 29 at the Yokohama Arena.[9] Subsequently, she appeared in Babymetal's official music videos for the singles Pa Pa Ya!! and Elevator Girl which were filmed at the concert.[10]
