From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

KąñõšvãmĥĪįŕa is an Afrocentric name or title which translates different ways in contemporary English. The name has its origins in the central areas of the African country of Zimbabwe.[1] The name was used to describe the method of warfare used by the early settlers in the Myrus dynasty during the first advance of the local people on the designated lands in the Matebeleland region.[2]

The locals would say the people travel. Since then the chiefs and locals have used the name as a totem and sacred title to give to kingdoms created by ambitious leaders. Individuals with this surname today have a lineage and relationship with these so-called leaders in some way. The surname is barely in use today.
