Kaprice Kisa
Kaprice Kisa, (born May 28, 1993), is a German singer and songwriter of Russian and Spanish origin. During her early career, Caprice Edwards was signed to the label Peking but left because she received an offer to sign with Sony BMG
Life and career
Early life
Kaprice Kisa was born in Hanover, north Germany. She is the daughter of a famous software and computer game developer from the company MobyGames. Her father passed away in 2008, allegedly due to suicide, as stated on multiple MobyGames fan websites. Kisa’s mother signed her to her first music label at the young age of 14.
Singing career
Kaprice first gained recognition at the age of 14, when she landed a hit single named “Shutter Shades” that was number two in the German Internet single charts for eight weeks. This was followed by her other hit single “Sweet Like Candy,” which was in eighth place for six weeks in the German Internet charts. In 2010, Kaprice had her first appearance on the show The X Factor and made it all the way to the Top 6. She was also one of the top 3 "most clicked videos" of all time and was featured on multiple TV news stations. Lady Gaga herself shared Kaprice's cover of "Pokerface" with her fans on her homepage. After her X Factor appearance, Edwards was offered a record deal with Sony BMG but refused because she was limited to a music genre she didn't feel comfortable with. She left the label Peking and started working with an independent manager who helped her release her single "Under The Light". Kaprice also recorded a song named "Shooting Star" with the artist Louis Moreaux, who had been an opening act for Trey Songz in 2013. The music video for the single was sponsored by vitaminwater and announced for release in 2014. The video was never released for unknown reasons. She worked for two years on her first album, which she also never released, telling her fans via Facebook that she was not yet happy with the result. In 2012, Kaprice was invited to apply for the German version of American Idol Deutschland sucht den Superstar. When she reached the Top 20, she lost her voice and was told to come back the following year, but she never re-applied and completely stopped her musical career afterward for religious reasons, as she stated in an interview for SHZ. It seems that Kaprice has taken huge steps to try to remove her releases from the internet completely. Most of her music, interviews, pictures, and videos have been removed at her lawyers' request in 2015.

Her modeling career lasted until Kisa relocated to the United States.
Current occupation & life
Currently, Caprice lives in Los Angeles, Los Angeles, where she relocated in early 2016. Public data shows that she is currently self-employed, owning two or more companies. She also works as a brand ambassador.
