Karan Tandale (born 21 September 1993) is an Indian Film Cinematographer, director, and Stunt Designer, who works primarily in the Hindi and Marathi cinema. He started his film career after completing post-graduation in cinematography. He has done some films as a cinematographer, like *Kabaddi*, *Jawani Zindabad*, *Good Morning*, *Wings of Fire*, *Perfume*, *Doctor Doctor*, and *Pirem*. And a Hindi film as a cinematographer and Director, “Neelvanti”. His first directorial debut Marathi film is “Good Morning”. He was nominated for Best Cinematography and Best Director for his film *Good Morning* at the Nashik International Film Festival in 2017.
Biography
Karna was born in a Marathi-speaking Hindu family in Pune, Pune District of Maharashtra. He studied at Mhalsakant College at Akurdi in Pune University. He started his career as a Cinematographer in Marathi cinema.
Early and personal life
Karan Tandale was born in Pune, India. He studied at Mhalsakant College, Akurdi, and attended Savitribai Phule Pune University both in Pune. While studying, he discovered his love of photography. After graduating, Karan found work as a cameraman in the production of short films and documentaries in various locations for approximately three years. He started his career in the entertainment industry as a Cinematographer, working on the first Marathi movie ‘Friendship be alert’ in 2014, directed by Karan Shashi. As a cinematographer, he was influenced by Marathi Indian cinema. He cites Santosh Sivan, Emmanuel Lubezki, James Cameron, and Roger Deakins as his inspirations. He is a single, unmarried man. He acted in his first film, *Neelvanti*, as Karan.
