Karyn Turk (born 1972) is an Instagram model, radio commentator, conservative pundit, personal branding consultant, and spokesperson. She is the former Mrs Florida 2016.[1][2][3]

Career[edit]

In 2016, Turk won Mrs Florida U.S continental pageant.[4]

Turk is also the host Red America Radio. She has served as a spokesperson for Cindy Yang. She also hosted a show, “Eye on DC.” Turk made a brief appearance in “In Sanity, Florida,” Burt Reynolds’ short-lived series. She was also cast as “Trump Supporter” in Fake News: A Trump Story, a TV film. She has also appeared in “Nearly Departed.”[5][6][7][8][9][10]

Turk has made guest appearances at Bold TV, Russia Today International, and Bill Mitchell’s YourVoice America.[6]

She has also worked as a journalist, television producer, editor, and brand ambassador specializing in business, technology, and politics.[7]

Charity and community service[edit]

In September 2019, Turk was nominated for “Best Buddies” Champion of the Year alongside Antonio Sabato Jr.[7]

Recognition[edit]

Turk was nominated by the local chapter of Anthony Kennedy Shriver’s Best Buddies organization. In 2015 she was also named one of Florida’s Top Power Women and Influencers. Richtopia ranked Turk as #200 on their list of Top 250 Most Influential Business Journalists in the World in 2018. In addition to this, she was featured in StepMom magazine and Country Club Living magazine.[7][11]

Controversy[edit]

Meredith, Evan Turk’s ex-wife, sued Turk for threatening her with the stiletto heel and filed for defamation, cyberbullying, and harassment in 2017. The case was dismissed in February 2019.[case verdict sent by Karyn.[12][6][13][14]

Turk was accused of stealing her adoptive mother’s Social Security checks to fund her family’s lifestyle. She pleaded guilty for embezzling $17,300 in her mother’s social security checks in September 2019. She was sent to the federal prison in downtown on March 21, 2020. After she was released from prison on March 31, 2020, she was ordered a five-month house arrest and 100-hour community service.[2][15][16][17]

She filed a wrongful death suit against the Finnish-American Rest Home for not providing her mother with the type of care she needed.[15][16][18][17]

Personal life[edit]

Turk was formerly married to Nicholas Barone, and she got divorced in 2013. As of 2020, she is married to Evan Turk, a lawyer in Palm Beach, and has four children.[19][20][7]
